Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange was up by 47 points to 20,028 in late morning deals on the back of gains in stocks of metal, oil and gas and banking sectors, amid mixed Asian trend. The 30-share barometer, which had lost 120 points yesterday, recovered by 72 points to 20,053 in opening trade.Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty gained 5 points to 6,053.
