The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a modest gain of 42 points, or 0.2 percent, at 21,075, amid the monthly expiry in the derivatives segment, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 11 points, or 0.2 percent, to 6,279.
