Snapping early losses, the BSE benchmark Sensex gained 37 points to 17804 in afternoon trade today. The 30-share barometer, had declined by 90 points in opening trade to 17,677 with metal, banking and capital goods stocks leading the fall.Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty gained 8 points to 5370.
