The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose by 28 points to 18,791 in noon trade today. The 30-share barometer gained 53 points in early trade today, extending its previous session's rally on sustained buying by funds and retailers largely on expectations of further economic reforms by the government.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange moved up by 10 points or 0.17 per cent, to 5,713.
