Recovering from early losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange stood 26 points, or 0.1 per cent in positive territory, at 17,489 in afternoon deals, a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, however, the Sensex had opened 36 points, 0.2 per cent in the red, at 17,427, on profit-booking by investors, amid a mixed trend in the other key Asian markets.The bourses in Japan, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore were trading mixed, on investor caution ahead of a European Central Bank policy meeting later today.
