Snapping a three-day losing streak, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange jumped 242 points, or 1.5 percent, to 16,710, as investors picked up IT stocks, amid a falling rupee, and rising European markets, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 72 points, or 1.5 percent, to 5,013. Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore ended mixed.
