The benchmark indices opened higher and sustained momentum tracking global markets.The markets finished on a 10-day high on the back of strong global markets and robust earnings from major companies. The BSE Sensex closed at 18,081 with gains of 212 points and the NSE Nifty added 64 points to close at 5,431.
