The BSE Sensex was trading up by 198 points to 21,231 when reports last came in. It recovered 123 points in early trade today on emergence of buying by funds and retail investors amid a firming Asian trend.The National Stock Exchange index Nifty moved up 60 points to 6,302.In the Asian region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.65 per cent while Japan's Nikkei was up 1.77 per cent in early trade today.The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended higher by 0.71 per cent in yesterday's trade
