Rebounding from early losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended with a gain of 195 points, or 1.2 percent, at 16,863, today, on hopes of interest rate cut by the RBI and amidst rising European markets. The Sensex had lost 115 points at the day's low, and added 229 points at the day's high. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange advanced 62 points, or 1.2 percent, to 5,116 points.
