The BSE Sensex today rose 186 points to 19,064 in afternoon trade, earlier it gained over 151 points in morning deals on widespread buying by funds and retailers amid a firming Asian trend. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty moved up by 56 points, to 5,754.
