The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 147 points to 20,567 in afternoon trade today. The 30-share index rose by 155 points in opening trade to trade at 20,575. The Sensex had lost 185 points in the previous two sessions. The wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty was up by 41 points to 6,090.
