Sensex gains 139 points to close at 26,631<br/>

Snapping two days of sharp losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 139 points, or 0.5 percent, to close at 26,631, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 43 points, to 7,976.Stock markets in China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore climbed between 0.5 percent and 1 percent. The rupee appreciated 13 paise, to 60.92 against the dollar, on sustained dollar selling by exporters. Gold declined 60 rupees, to 27,400 rupees per ten grams in Delhi. Silver fell 110 rupees, to 41,490 rupees per kilo.And, Brent crude oil futures dropped below 99 dollars a barrel, while US crude slipped 25 cents, to 94.63 dollars a barrel.
