The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex gained 131 points to trade at 17007 in late morning deals on Friday. The 30-share BSE index had risen by over 180 points in opening trade.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty Index moved up by 30 points to 5106.
