The BSE benchmark index Sensex rose by 126 points to trade at 19,106 points early trade today on sustained buying by funds as well as retail investors. The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty moved up by 31 points to 5,624. Among other Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei and Hong Kong's Hang Seng were down up to 1.13 per cent. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.04 per cent higher yesterday.
