Rebounding smartly from early lows, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained a good 128 points, or 0.8 per cent, to 16,574 in afternoon trade, a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, however, the Sensex had fallen 105 points, or 0.6 per cent, to 16,341, on sustained selling by funds.Other Asian markets in South Korea, Japan, Indonesia and Taiwan were up by between 0.1 percent, and 2 percent, today. But over in the US, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has slipped 1.61 per cent, overnight.
