Rebounding from initial losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a gain of 111 points, or 0.6 percent, at 18,793, as investors were enthused by some strong corporate earnings, and largely positive European markets, on Monday. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 33 points, or 0.6 percent, to 5,717.
