The BSE Sensex which rose by nearly 232 points in opening trade today made further advances and gained nearly 68 more points in the afternoon trading. The 30-share benchmark index was up by 300 points or 1.91 per cent and was trading at 15,996 during noon trade.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index moved up by 97 points, or 2.06 per cent, to 4,801.
