The benchmark BSE Sensex was trading flat in the afternoon trade a short while ago. It rose by 56 points to 21,157 in early trade today on sustained buying by funds amid a firm trend on other Asian bourses.The Nifty was also trading 4 points up at 6,288, a short while ago.
