The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 16 points, or 0.1 percent, to close at 20,713, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange lost 6 points, or 0.1 percent, to 6,168.Earlier in the morning, the Sensex had gained 42 points, or 0.2 percent, on selective buying by funds and retail investors.
