The BSE benchmark Sensex fell over 41 points in afternoon trade today. The 30-share barometer declined by 84 points in opening trade as funds and investors preferred to trim their positions ahead of RBI credit policy meeting.The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty down by 22 points to 5,976.
