The BSE Sensex fell by 144 points to 19187 in afternoon trade amid weak global cues. Earlier, the Sensex resumed lower at 19,290 and dropped further to 19,186 in late morning deals, showing a loss of over 109 points from its last close.The Nifty also moved down by 45 points to 5,809.
