The Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange lost its early gains and was down by nearly 9 points during noon trading. The Sensex which rose by 43 points in early trade today, lost all its early gains and was trading at 18422 with 9 points down or .05 % loss.Similarly the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange index also lost its early gains and was down by 8 points, or 0.14 per cent, to 5,590.In Asian region, Hong Kong's Hang Seng index rose 0.58 per cent, while Japan's Nikkei gained 1.18 per cent in early trade today.
