The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex today opened lower by 81 points at 18,779 due to selling by funds. The 30-share index had lost 322 points in the previous session. Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index also moved down by 30 points to 5,624 points.
