The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange declined 169 points, or 0.9 percent, to close at 19,818, today, on profit-booking by investors, amid fading hopes of a rate cut by the Reserve Bank, and weak regional markets. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 55 points, or 0.9 percent, to 6,002 Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong and South Korea declined between 0.1 percent and 2.5 percent.
