The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex fell by 119 points to 16,165 in noon trade on Thursday. Sensex had earlier gained 87 points in the first few minutes of trade on Thursday. In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index shed 40 points to 4848.
