The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 69 points, or 0.4 per cent, to 18,307 in the first few minutes of trade, on Sunday morning, on fresh selling by investors, amid weak Asian markets.Later, after losing more than 100 points at one stage, the Sensex trimmed its losses, and stood a more modest 35 points, or 0.2 percent in the negative zone, at 18,341 in afternoon deals, a short while ago. The 30-share index has already lost over 230 points in the last two trading sessions. Stock markets in Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia were down by between 0.4 percent and 1.2 percent, today, following disappointing US economic data.
