Snapping three days of gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed 18 points, or 0.1 percent lower, at 17,521, on mild profit-booking, amid mostly weak global markets. The Sensex had gained 140 points in last three trading sessions. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange shed 10 points, or 0.2 percent, to 5,317.
