The BSE Sensex fell by over 152 points in early trade today. The 30-share barometer, which gained 782.51 points in the past six sessions, fell by 152.94 points to 17,081.04 points within minutes of the opening bell today.In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty declined by 51.35 points to 5,153.35 points.
