Sensex falls 130 points in late morning trade

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange lost 130 points to stand at 18669 in late morning deals today. The fall was attributed to sustained selling by investors on renewed worries over domestic political stability and a weakening trend in global markets. The 30-share barometer fell by 173 points in opening trade.In a similar fashion, the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell by 48 points to 5,624.
