The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange extended gains for the second straight day by surging 111 points in early trade today. The 30-share barometer which gained 30 points in the yesterday's trade, spurted by 111 points to 18,648. Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index, Nifty moved up by 31 points to 5,667.
