The BSE benchmark Sensex which opened 104 points higher in opening trade, lost much of its ground as it was trading at 18,279 points, up by 13 points, when reports last came in. Meanwhile, the broad-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index was trading up by 4 points at 5,480 points. Meanwhile, The US Dow Jones Industrial average ended 0.31 per cent higher in Friday's trade. The Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was marginally down by 0.06 per cent.
