Erasing all its early gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a nominal loss of 3 points, at 26,211 while the Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained just 2 points, to 8,035. Meanwhile, the National Stock Exchange has filed draft papers with market regulator, SEBI, for its much-awaited Initial Public Offer. The IPO is expected to be one of the biggest in recent times. At the forex market, the rupee depreciated 18 paise, to 68.24 against the dollar. Gold rose 175 rupees, to 28,200 rupees per ten grams in Delhi. And Brent crude oil futures advanced 36 cents to 56.45 dollars a barrel.
