The domestic stock markets ended with very small losses for the second straight day, today, while the rupee managed to appreciate slightly against the dollar.The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange declined a nominal 8 points, to close at 31,138. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 5 points, to 9,616.At the forex market, the rupee strengthened 3 paise, to 64.48 against the dollar. Gold gained 250 rupees, to 29,350 rupees per ten grams in Delhi. And Brent crude oil futures rose 40 cents, to 51.16 dollars a barrel.
