Recovering partially from initial losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended with a loss of 61 points, or 0.3 percent, at 18,246, today, as the rupee dropped to a new low, and as the global markets lost ground. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange declined 13 points, or 0.3 percent, to 5,401.Stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore lost between 0.6 percent and 2.6 percent.
