Rising for the second straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended with a solid gain of 359 points, or 2 percent, at 18,449, on Thursday, on aggressive value-buying in recently beaten down stocks.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange spurted 95 points, or 1.7 percent, to 5,527.The bourses in China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore were closed for a holiday. But the Japanese market dropped 0.3 percent.
