Sensex ends marginally higher

The Sensex ended marginally up 15 points on Wednesday extending the winning streak for the fourth consecutive day, after the RIL counter helped the markets to recover from the days lows. Despite firm Asian cues, the 30-share barometer witnessed wide fluctuations before ending at 17,701 up 15 points or 0.08 per cent.Pharma, realty and refinery counters attracted good buying support while IT stocks and the metals counter, which gained nearly six per cent in three sessions, ended in losses. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange shut the shop for the day with a paltry 4 points to end at 5,282 points from its last close.
