The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange closed 158 points, or 0.9 percent higher, at 17,180, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange rose 51 points, or 1 percent, to 5,104.Asian markets in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and Indonesia ended mixed.
