The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 30 points, or 0.2 percent, to 18,537, amid cautious trade on Monday. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 9 points, or 0.2 percent, to 5,636. Stock markets in China, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore ended mixed.
