The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange ended with a slight loss of 40 points, or 0.2 percent, to 17,839, in a choppy trade on Monday. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange slipped 9 points, or 0.2 percent, to 5,365.In Asia, stock markets in Hong Kong, Singapore, China and South Korea rose between 0.1 and 1.7 percent.
