Sensex drops over 100 points to slip below 32,000-mark

At the stock markets, after a weak opening, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange remained subdued, and had declined 145 points, or 0.5 percent, to slip below the 32,000-mark, at 31,870, a short while ago. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange had dropped 44 points, to 9,935.Other key Asian markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong and South Korea had lost between 0.2 percent and 1.3 percent.And at the forex market, the rupee had weakened 15 paise, to 63.78 against the dollar in afternoon deals.
