The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange today dropped by 134 points to 18,753 in late morning trade. Earlier, the 30-share barometer regained 19,000 mark by spurting 121 points in morning session led by rally in FMCG, consumer durables and oil and gas sector stocks, amid firm trend on other Asian bourses. The Nifty, at the National Stock Exchange down by 48 points, to 5,502.
