The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange opened with a small loss of 19 points, at 18,726, on Wednesday morning, on continued selling by investors, amid mixed cues from the global markets. Later, after rebounding to gain 79 points, the Sensex again lost ground, and stood 38 points, or 0.2 percent in negative territory, at 18,707, in afternoon trade, a short while ago. Stock markets in Japan, Singapore, South Korea, China, and Hong Kong were trading mixed, today. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average had lost 0.1 per cent, overnight.
