The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex was down by over 41 points and was trading at 16243 in the afternoon trade.In the opening trade it gained over 203 points on fresh buying by funds.The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty was also down by over 3 points to 4,849 points when reports last came in.
