The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange in the volatile trade, fell 83 points in the afternoon deals. The 30-share barometer which had recovered by nearly 135 points in its opening session, lost 83 points to trade at 19,234 when reports last came in. The Nifty, at the National Stock Exchange moved 27 points down to 5,701 points a short while ago.
