The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex on Friday fell by over 76 points in early trade to 18378 points in the first five minutes of trade. The wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty also declined by 24.70 points, or 0.35 per cent, to 5,515 points.Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index was down 0.69 per cent, while Japanese Nikkei index fell by 1.39 per cent in morning trade. The US Dow Jones Industrial average had ended 1.39 per cent down in Thursday's trade.
