Extending its losses for the third straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 39 points, to 19,917, in opening trade, today, on sustained selling pressure, amid weak global cues. Remaining weak, the Sensex was down 22 points, or 0.1 percent, at 19,935, a short while ago. Other Asian markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea were trading mixed, today. The US Dow Jones industrial average had lost 0.2 per cent, overnight.
