Erasing all its intial gains, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange stood 20 points, or 0.1 percent in negative territory, at 16,826 in afternoon deals, a short while ago. Earlier in the morning, however, the Sensex had opened with a small gain of 14 points, at 16,860.Other Asian markets in Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan were up by between 0.1 percent and 1 percent, today. Across on Wall Street, the Dow Jones Industrial Average had ended 0.5 per cent higher in yesterday's trade.
