The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex which fell by over 261 points in opening trade, recovered some of its ground and was trading 174 points in red, at 18,547 when reports last came in. In a similar fashion, the wide-based National Stock Exchange, Nifty was trading 54 points in red at 5,562 points.
