Falling for the second straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange dropped 169 points, or 1 percent, to 17,193, today, on concerns over sluggish corporate earnings, and weak industrial growth. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange fell 52 points, or 1 percent, to 5,169.But stock markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Singapore rose between 0.1 percent and 2.8 percent, on some encouraging news from the euro zone.
