The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange dropped 165 points, or 0.9 percent, to again close below the 18,000-level, at 17,847, amid subdued Asian and European markets, on Wednesday. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange lost 46 points, or 0.9 percent, to 5,349.
